Resetting portal password

If a contact has a problem gaining access to the customer portal, first check to make sure they are using your correct web address (URL).  The format should be http://nameyouchoose.mioworks.com

You may also reset the contact password at anytime by visiting the contact detail record and clicking on the “Portal Access” link in the Action box to the right as shown in the screen shot below:

The “Portal Access” link is only visible when the portal has been activated for this particular contact.  If the contact has not been activated yet, then click the “activate” link just under their name. After clicking the Portal Access link the following window will appear:

To resend an auto-generated password, click the check box (1) and then simply click the “Re-send” button (3).  If you wish to enter a password manually, you may type it into the password field (2) and then click the “Re-send” button (3).   The contact will automatically receive an email message with the new password and instructions on logging into your MioWorks.com website.
