Site Admin

Administration of your MioWorks.com site is as simple as it gets.  The MioWorks team takes care of running the application, performing backups and responding to technical issues.  This means that you only have to worry about some simple setup items.  To access the site administration pages, you must log in as a user with “admin” privileges.  Upon log-on you will see a link in the header next to your name that says “Site Administration”.  On the site administration page you will find:

Site information – a few basic pieces of information that are needed to run your specific mioworks.com website.  This includes your company name, language, address, functional currency and time zone.

Your MioWorks users - you’ll see a list of all the employees you have authorized to use MioWorks.  To add a new user you simply create a new contact of the type employee.  You can click on the “new user” button to easily add a new employee to your MioWorks.com site.

Billing information – the billing information panel provides you with the ability to view & manage your subscription. See billing page for more details.

Data download - at any time you may request a data download of your entire MioWorks.com data set.  It is a good practice to download your own data set on a regular basis as an added layer of risk reduction.  To make the request, click on the “Request” link to start the process.  Your data download request will be added to the queue and processed within approximately one hour or less.  When the download is ready, you will receive an email message with the appropriate link so that you can retrieve the file.

Portal settings – settings for the customer portal are found on a separate page.  To access the page, simply click the “Portal Setting” link located next to the “Site Administration” link next to your name in the header.  If the link does not appear, the user does not have administrative privileges.
